LIVE STREAM GUIDE

HOW TO WATCH

Check your email with a link to watch the performance. If you cannot find the email, check your spam folder. Reach out to us at boxoffice@paramountarts.org with questions.

Test your connection in advance. You will want to make sure your internet is running smoothly and that you have access to the app (such as YouTube) that is referenced in the email. Many events can be viewed through your internet browser (Chrome, etc.).

Troubleshooting: If your screen freezes or looses sync with the audio, try refreshing your screen. If that doesn’t work, check your internet connectivity. If your connection is interrupted, you will still be able to watch the performance with the same link for up to 48 hours.

DO NOT pause, rewind or fast forward a live stream. Interrupting may cause you to miss part of the performance.

DO NOT share your ticket. Your link allows you to share your viewing experience with those in the same place at the same time.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What browsers are compatible with Paramount streaming events?

Most browsers are compatible with livestreaming. We recommend Chrome, but others should work.

How do I watch on my SmartTV?
If you have the YouTube app on your SmartTV, or are able to access a browser, you should be able to enter your viewing code and watch directly. If you have any issues, we suggest using a desktop or laptop computer, tablet or smartphone. You may miss some details on a smartphone, due to its smaller size.

Can I use one ticket to watch on multiple devices?

Your ticket is valid to use on one device at a time.

Is there a chat feature available?

Yes! During our livestreams on YouTube and Facebook Live, you can chat directly with us during, and sometimes after, the performance. The conversations will be monitored, and inappropriate comments will be removed.

Who do I contact if I’m having trouble? If you need assistance, please contact us at 320-259-5463 or boxoffice@paramountarts.org. Please note that we will not be able to assist on technology issues, but we can make sure you have the right information for your event.

INTERNET CONNECTION

The Paramount Center for the Arts is not responsible for individual internet connections. Slower connections are indicated by:

  • your video is buffering
  • your video is constantly loading
  • your video is choppy
  • your video is constantly freezing

A good test of internet strength is to stream something on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.

Thank you for joining us for our streaming events. We look forward to seeing you again in person!
