Please help us welcome Dawn M. Loven, our Development Director, to the Paramount Center for the Arts!
My first experience with the Paramount was taking my father, who has Alzheimer’s, to the Art Spark program. This amazing program blossomed the artist in my father. Being able to attend with him was such a joy. The experience really made me value the Paramount and services it provides to many individuals in our community. As a former studio artist, one of my goals this fall is to sign up for the Paramount’s watercolor class. I look forward to returning to painting and being creative. I have been so fortunate to have had a long career in the performing arts – from the Walker Art Center and MacPhail Center for the Arts to the Minnesota Opera and Minnesota Orchestra. Joining the staff Paramount is sort of full circle homecoming for me. My family still lives in the area – I am looking forward to being closer to them and returning to my roots. As a lifelong Minnesotan, my “free time” tends to follow the seasons. Free time is always dedicated to the family cabin, out on the golf course, and working in my gardens. Our wonderful winters give me the opportunity to enjoy my hobbies of knitting and reading.
