Did you know!
Jessie Chandler, author of classic crime capers is also a painter? She will be returning to the Paramount Center for the Arts during the art reception on the 6th featuring four of her abstract paintings as a member of the Guild. Take time to connect with Jessie about her artwork. While you are at it, grab a signed copy of one of her crime novels. She might even share insights about her newest book “Shanghai Murder #6 in the Shay O’Hanlon Caper Series” set to release this JUNE!

Group Motto
We, the Grateful heART Guild, are painters of feelings, thoughts, ideas, dreams and memories, all profound, precious, priceless, perplexing and puzzling but playful and pun too!
Grateful HeART Guild Bio
We are a like-minded but highly individualistic group of women who found one another through Intuitive Mixed Media Art classes taught by Paige LaDue Henry. Paige is an incredibly enthusiastic artist and instructor who loves to create new words, mix happy colors, and repeat her mantra: “Perfection is overrated!” It was 2018 when the classes began and since then, more amazing artists have found their way to the Grateful heART Guild.
We are sustained by our biweekly art classes and are grateful for each other and the amazing contribution we all make to one another’s art-filled journey. We’re committed to supporting one another in becoming our most vital, vibrant, and fully expressed selves.
Paige started out teaching to share her passion for art. She has been asked if she founded the Grateful heART Guild. Paige feels like the Guild founded itself and that she is more of the “evolver” than the founder.
Now, we are absolutely excited to have this chance to share our expressions, and hopefully bring delight and wonder, and maybe a moment of amazement to the viewer.
