Employee Spotlight: Patty Soltis

Patty joined the Paramount team in April 2015 as a House Manager then became Gallery Gift Shop Manager in January 2022.

Patty was part of the musical Something’s Afoot, which opened the newly renovated Paramount in 1998! Before the renovation, they did shows with Inverted Pyramid and New Tradition in the early 90s. They were helping with costumes for several productions New Tradition was presenting and remember running under the depths of the theatre over to another building for something needed for a costume. It was dark, had dirt floors and let’s not forget the bats! Patty also loved the dressing rooms backstage on the second and third levels. “Such a grand building with so much history.”

Patty is looking forward to sharing what the PCA has to offer. Our over 70 talented artists shown in the gallery are amazing and offer beautiful pieces of one-of-a-kind art. Be watching for their “stories” and what makes them excited to be a part of downtown and the PCA!

  • When asked what have the arts brought to the community?

The arts bring people together. Friendships are built, ideas are cultivated. The first word I think of is Joy. Patty spends time as a House Manager for shows on stage as well and has the privilege of seeing people excited and happy to experience art, music, and creativity.

  • Additional Fun Facts about Patty:

My husband and I will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary in 2022 and will finally be taking our long-anticipated trip to New York City! I have been a Mary Kay Consultant for 31 years and absolutely love my customers. We are lovers of everything “cat” related. And if you really want to get on the good side of me, give me a pen. I love pens!  I am usually involved with acting in shows with my husband Randy or singing with my 40s group Seams Like Swing. I love to read, go to the theatre, watch movies, cook, antique shopping and spend time with my friends and family.
