Exhibition Description
Just Passing By is a show by SCSU art alumni. Artists submitted work based on their own interpretation of the show’s title. This allows the show to share a variety of viewpoints as well as how each artist has been able to continue their studio practice in their post-school lives.

Shanna is an artist who works with the ideas of home and finding comfort while living with mental illness. She graduated from SCSU with a BFA in Studio Art degree in the spring of 2022.
Ian Ryks || iangryks@gmail.com
Ian is a visual artist who graduated from St. Cloud State in spring 2022, with an emphasis on printmaking and 2D media. His work addresses ideas of Process, routine, and memory. His recent work investigates how information can be obscured through additive processes, and the ways this obscurity can prevent understanding.
