Discover the possibilities in working with clay off the pottery wheel! Learn how to use the slab roller to slump, drape, and carve clay, as well as creating texture and surface design.

Materials list for Paramount Handbuilding Classes

1.) Plastic to cover your work (dry cleaning bags work great for this! )

2.) Item you would like to create texture with

3.) Old towel

4.) Lock for your locker

5.) Clay: Your first bag of clay is included in the cost of tuition, but depending on the size and number of pieces you create you may need to purchase more. We have a variety to choose from, ranging in price from $12-$25 for a 25 pound bag.
