This can be an extension of the first class in February but also will stand on it’s own. It will be a two day, no fear exploration, trying out a wonderful collection of materials: acrylic paints, acrylic inks, oil pastels, graphite pencils, paint markers, stencils, stamps and collage with special papers.

We will be working on several paintings at once, rotating paintings as layers dry and new ideas come up that need to be expressed. You will learn several different ways to start a painting and learn how to know when it’s finished!

We will be exploring and experimenting with color, texture, line and shape. It’s great fun to set aside our expectations and be truly surprised and amazed at what we actually can create. You’ll go away with at least three finished and fantastic pieces.

You can bring a lunch or go get lunch locally. Bring a paint shirt and come with a sense of adventure! We will be able to leave our supplies at the Paramount, locked up in Studio B overnight, Friday night.
