Get ready for a great night of music at the Paramount on May 7th! Six local high school bands will be battling it out, showcasing their original tunes. Then, making a rare live appearance is the legendary local band Slip Twister! The top three bands in the competition will win trophies and prizes, but the real winner is Project 37, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating safe and sober spaces for musicians. This fundraiser will help Project 37 establish a coffeehouse and music venue for local musicians, fostering the next generation of talent and revitalizing the original music scene in St. Cloud. This is your chance to support a great cause and enjoy a night of incredible music – don’t miss it!

CALLISTO // acoustic trio
We are Callisto. An acoustic trio based out of Minneapolis. We are made up of Henry (18), Kennedy (21) and Graham (24).

THE TAKE // hard rock
“The Take” originally formed in 2023, is a hard rock band from central Minnesota. Through out the last two years, many members have come and gone. The founder Ben Sjaaheim (guitar/vocals) has been playing with Silas Dingman (drums) for years. Ben Sjaaheim met Ben Spahn (vocals/keys) and Hendrick Schlude (Bass/guitar) at Saint Johns prep.

ASH AND THE CAR CRASH // indie rock
Formed by the selection process of rockband over a year ago, this band has carried on beyond that for their shared passion for making music. Their songs tackle subjects like, not liking a person and the crushing dread felt when reminiscing on a friend group who tore itself apart from the inside out. Featuring Ash’s hauntingly direct lyrics, Harriet’s powerful drumming, Sean’s stellar unpredictable bass playing, and whatever Tayt does, they are ash and the car crash.

SHATTERED SPADES // rock
We shake the walls with electricity, break the ground with sound, Our music hits where it counts, Nick on bass, Eli on drums and Lucas on guitar we are the Shattered Spades.

IDENTITY CRISIS // hardcore punk
Identity Crisis is a hardcore band made up of youth around the area. They play fast and aggressive music with groovy breakdowns.Their lyrics cover topics ranging from human relationships, commentary about the world, and straight edge.

BORROWED TIME // indie rock
Borrowed Time is a 5-piece indie rock band from central Minnesota. Formed from pieces of other local music projects, they perform original music inspired by acts like Radiohead, The Backseat Lovers, and many more. Combining the tastes of multiple talented songwriters, Borrowed Time accomplishes a truly unique sound.
