About the Artist

Christy Dickinson is a visual artist who celebrates the interaction of color. She started Anansi Studio after pursuing a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Painting at College of Visual Arts in St. Paul, Minnesota. She participated in the month-long Women’s Art Intensive at Saint Catherine’s University in St. Paul provided the space and community to expand her ideas which culminated in a meditative installation that premiered at the 2021 Women’s Art Institute Exhibition. This was a jumpstart to enhancing her studio practice and she was recently one of 38 artists selected for the What Fierce Looks Like: Artists of the Women’s Art Institute group exhibition at Form + Content Gallery in Minneapolis, MN.
