Ceramic Chalices and Candles Workshop
with Ken Ferber (Chalices) with Faye & Gary Mrozek (Candles) 

Experience Level: Some prior throwing experience recommended

Saturday May 6, 10am-4pm & Saturday May 20, 10am-Noon (Total of 2 sessions)

Ages 14+ 

Join us for this exciting workshop about creating beautiful ceramic chalice candle holders! Ken will guide you through the process and offer tips for success in throwing the chalice form on the pottery wheel on May 6. This class will also include time to glaze your chalice in the color and design of your choosing.

No class on May 13, your chalice will be fired in the kiln between classes.

On May 20 Faye and Gary Mrozek will guide the group through the process of the wax pour in your chalice, turning your beautiful ceramic piece into a candle holder. Enjoy the warm glow of your candle for many hours and then choose to repour wax on your own or enjoy the chalice as a drinking vessel!
