EXHIBITION DESCRIPTION

Autumn is a freelance travel writer and photographer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Previously a flight attendant, she’s traveled to 30 countries, 48 states, and 5 continents. While studying abroad in England, Autumn traveled with only a backpack, her Nikon, and wide eyes. Time spent as a flight attendant, travel agent, and travel design manager allowed Autumn to see the world and find her one true love, travel photography.

ARTIST STATEMENT

My name is Autumn. I am a freelance travel writer and photographer based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I’ve traveled to 30 countries, 48 states, and 5 continents. I received my bachelor’s in English Literature, with an emphasis in Creative Writing. I was given the opportunity to live in England while studying for my writing specialization. During this time, I learned how to travel abroad by myself and I spent my weekends traveling to 13 different countries throughout Europe. I brought only a backpack, my Nikon, and explored this beautiful world with wide eyes. After completing my bachelor’s, I received an opportunity to be a flight attendant. I was able to combine my busy life of flying and blogging on the side, all while having my beloved camera attached to my hip throughout all my adventures. I enjoyed flying but also wanted to explore other travel opportunities. My experiences have brought me to many places, but my one true love has always been travel photography.
