Paper Making in an Adaptive Classroom
with Kelly Meyer
Experience Level: Beginner, no prior experience needed
Tuesdays November 29-December 6, 6-8pm (2 sessions)
Adults & Children of all ages with Moderate to Significant Disabilities (Caregiver Attendance Required). All are welcome to attend!
Join us for the exciting experience of making your own papers in a variety of colors and textures with artist Kelly Meyer! Kelly will guide the class through the step-by-step process of making unqiue handmade papers, while engaging a variety of senses in a fun and safe enviornment!
This class offers a variety of adaptive equipment as needed to ensure project success! If you would like to arrange equipment please contact us at dsegerstrom@paramountarts.org by 5pm on November 8 to discuss individual needs.
Limited class size will also allow for one-on-one work with the instructor throughtout the entire class! Please join us!
*When registering, caregivers do not need to pay an additional registration fee, simply enroll the total number of students participaing.
Schedule:
Project intro — Cut/tear paper scraps — Make book of manilla folders
Make paper! — bag up supplies used for book
Assemble book — add lettering — trim paper
